Through this project my untimate goal is to give my students access to classic literature that is not provided by my school/district, specifically the novels Macbeth and Of Mice and Men. I believe that the themes in these novels can be applied to my students' everyday lives. The Macbeth book offers parallel text, which will enable my students to better comprehend what can be perceived as a difficult and intimidating story. Through the use of these supplemental materials, I firmly believe that my students will have a more positive learning experience and will develop more of a passion for reading.

About my class
