My students get to take these sweet stories and practical information home! They can read them to friends and family because it is perfectly on level for their skill set. It helps foster joy in reading. We go over these stories together in class and everyone is excited to be called on to either read out loud or add to the content with a story or comment! It is one of our favorite parts of the academic week! Many of the readers have interactive games or writing projects that go along with them and even links to go online to learn more. Scholastic Magazines will be great for my students!
