Pillows, beanbags, chairs oh my! I want to purchase items for my classroom so that my students have a better "cozier" atmosphere. I can't afford to buy these items and although I hate to ask, it is for them and not me. Therefore, I felt it is worth it. I also wish to ask for an area rug for our reading center. I have only the bare essentials in my room currently with no areas for them to enjoy reading like the other rooms. I would love to create areas for reading that are comfortable for them to spend time reading. Teachers accumulate a lot of supplies throughout the years. I am new to this school and district and want to start accumulating supplies for this group and years to come.
