I truly believe in the ability and potential of each and every one of my students if given the opportunity and resources to learn.
My students are much more engaged and productive when their individual learning needs are met. The wobble cushions will accommodate my students who wiggle a lot and have a hard time sitting still, which in turn will allow them to focus on their learning by minimizing how much they get up and disrupt their focus. The comfortable floor seats will provide a space for my students who prefer to sit on the floor or carpet instead of their desks as well as engage them more in the library with a better space to sit and read a book. Additionally, the noise-cancelling headphones will aid my students who are distracted easily by noises in the room and allow them to focus and maintain their concentration.
One of the main topics covered in third grade is multiplication and division. In my class, we start our math lesson every day on the carpet with whiteboards. The Building Math Skills Write and Wipe Boards will provide my students a whiteboard that has an array, a number line and a tape diagram already printed on the boards to help them visualize their learning. Finally, the Jumbo Magnetic Multiplication Array and the Place Value Kit will also serve as visual and hands on tools to aid my students in their math instruction.
