My students, a diversified group of young learners live in an economically disadvantaged area. Our unique school is a Title 1 school, with English language learners. I am fortunate to teach general education to my Title 1 students. My students love coming to school. They feel safe, and they know they are going to learn. My students vary in terms of where they are academically, but the majority of my students are a couple of years behind, skill-wise, while others are on grade level. By gaining access to technology, I can help them to differentiate their learning. By doing so, I will be able to work more closely with my students that are behind, while allowing others to work independently and excel by teaching each other.
