Last year I was able to get my first Time 4 Kids magazines funded for my students. The students looked forward to the new magazines every month and we were able to have in depth conversations about real world current events and topics. This allowed my students to have engaging discussions and build their background knowledge. Students were also very excited to be able to keep the magazines and have reading materials they could take home. It is my hope to get this project funded again this year for both of the 3rd grade classrooms. It will benefit all of our students and be a great way to incorporate literacy into the classroom.

About my class
