When I read, I want a comfortable place to sit and relax and a great book! Second graders are just learning to love reading on their own and I want to foster this so they are avid readers for life! The comfortable floor chairs will give them flexible seating options in the classroom. The book bins will help keep the boys and girls organized. Start them early so they can continue these skills throughout their school careers. They can choose (with my help) books that are appropriate for their reading level to guarantee success. Then, when they've read their books, they can pick new ones.

About my class
