My students are in need of manipulatives for STEM Stations. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. By exposing students to STEM and giving them opportunities to explore STEM-related concepts, they will develop a passion for it and possibly pursue a job in a STEM field. The Manipulative Mania Math Building Set, Criss-Cross Connector Building Kit, 3-D Building Blocks and Squigzs will allow students to explore the fields of engineering and mathematics. The stools are going to be utilized in our technology station to allow for more flexible seating.
Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. Occupations in STEM-related careers are some of the fastest growing and best paid of the 21st century, and they often have the greatest potential for job growth. I feel that by giving my students the opportunity to explore STEM-related concepts I am preparing them to have a successful future!
