I am requesting a variety of games, instructional materials, and books to use as therapy materials. Turn-taking activities, such as Candyland and Don't Break the Ice, are prime opportunities to practice communication skills such as maintaining conversational topics, asking and answering questions, and practicing their speech sound goals. My students are much more invested in therapy when they are excited and motivated by the activities that we do together. My students can accomplish amazing things when they are given what they need to learn. By funding this project, you will provide my students with engaging therapy materials that will support their acquisition of essential communication skills.
