This project will help students make connections from their lives to higher level math concepts. The Steven Strogatz book Infinite Powers is a valuable tool in helping students connect the lives to the high level math they are being exposed to in the classroom. I strive to bring math across the disciplines academically and having them read this book will allow them to do just that. The effect it will have, carries through not only mathematics, but also English and science classes. I am so excited to be able to provide this opportunity my kids and I appreciate your help!
