Students will be doing an erosion experiment with sand and create an environment on the sand with homes, trees, and a river. They will be using rain at different rates (drizzle/storm) to see the difference of how water effects their environment. This will help students see how water, wind and soil effect each other and how it changes our environment in many ways. They will also be using their iPads to take pictures and videos to re-observe their experiment and create a slide show. I am really looking forward to watch and help students see the difference in how the water affects the environment. The elephant watering can is so that each group has water to make rain. The Legos are for them to create their homes. The hair dryers will add wind to their experiment.
