I am a third year teacher and am fortunate to have some great technology in my classroom including speakers, a projector, and a document camera. The way we find information has dramatically changed and though we are blessed to be in this country, especially one so saturated with the Internet and social media, it saddens me that there are still many students who do not have access to a computer and/or Internet at home. I would love to be able to provide more accessibility to this resource while my students are at school. I am also teaching an English Learners class with a wide variety of multilingual students (Spanish, Tagalog, Punjabi, Gujarati, Swahili, Cantonese, Japanese, Mandarin, Urdu, Farsi, and Hmong), and know that being able to use a translation service in class can be of great help. I appreciate you taking the time to read about my project and hope that you are called to meet this need! Thank you.
