The students will engage in science discussions and hands-on activities. They will draw from prior learning and I can probe what they understand and what misconceptions they may have. From these types of fun and meaningful assessments, I can tailor and make science lessons that are more relevant. The resource books will help me plan and implement short and meaningful science lessons that are in line with the Next Generation Science Standards. Our school has an outdoor classroom and I am hoping to develop exciting lessons about environment and ecology. We are studying geography and all the globes at our school were from cold war era. I need new and current globes for the kids to explore.
