Hi, I am a Moderate/Severe middle school special education teacher. I currently have 9 students in my class, but that number can increase throughout the year. I work at a low-income middle school, where our student population is made up of general education students and students in our special education program. Our focus is on the individual student and teaching them how to gain basic learning readiness skills and acquire academic work; while, also working on their play, social, communication, and self-help skills.
