If you walked into my classroom, you might think you've stepped into a 6th grade version of the United Nations. We have students from all over the world, and practically, every culture and religion is represented. Many of our students are first generation immigrants and still in the process of a mastering the English language. All students know they are welcome in our school: We laugh, we swap stories, we celebrate our differences and bond over shared experiences. I feel fortunate to teach in such a positive environment.

About my class
