I am a new teacher and do not have a lot of materials to provide my students with hands-on learning. As a Special Education Teacher, it my passion to see my students succeed academically and socially. The Osmo Genius Kit and iPad will help foster social intelligence and creative thinking skills while the bean bags offer that comfort every student needs.
I am going to create a reading corner in my classroom where my students will have a safe place to unwind their minds.
My students all learn differently. Being a Special Education teacher requires thinking out of the box for each student. Which way do they learn? How do they respond? What is their behavior? Not one student is alike, and it really is a beautiful thing to watch them learn and grow at their own pace and give their very best inside the classroom.
This reading corner would really complete our room, and it would offer that sense of adventure in learning that my students are hungry for. I want them to gain that experience from the new things in technology like the iPad and from the things of old like a book in their hands. They deserve the very best of me, so I want to give them the very best. Please consider helping us by contributing to this project. We welcome you, we invite you, and we are truly grateful.
