In our classroom, we have Chromebooks that we used on a daily basis for all subjects. We are almost one to one computers and will be very soon. We use them in every aspect of our day for multiple purposes. We are constantly researching and using Google Classroom for multi-purpose assignments. We even have time where we practice our typing techniques. They are one of the biggest used tools in our classroom.
Our main charging station is a table with a few different power strips. It is messy, unorganized, and hard to keep track of our Chromebooks to make sure they are being charged. It also uses up a lot of space and it could be an area for students to work instead of being a charging table. We are in desperate need of a more compact and organized charging option so we can have another working area in our room. I know the students will appreciate a more organized and simple way to charge and house our computers. It will also help them to be more responsible about their computers if they all have a spot in the cart.
