The document camera will increase the effectiveness of my instruction for all students, making it easier for them to follow along with their work while I model my instruction. It's easier for my students to grasp the concept of how to complete an assignment when they have the same visual. I am currently modeling each lesson using chart paper, but having a document camera would make it easier for students to follow along as I model the lesson and it's projected out digitally to the class. The computers will enhance the students' abilities to create digital portfolios of their project assignments, so they are capable of presenting their learning in a variety of ways.
