I am enthusiastically going into my sixth year teaching Kindergarten at Somerset Academy in Jacksonville, Florida! I have great passion for educating our youth and better enhancing student learning. I run a structured, organized classroom environment and differentiate instruction for all my students daily. Teaching Kindergarten, I use my creativity to make learning fun while pushing my kids to reach their highest potential. I believe Kindergarten is the most important grade because I have the great responsibility to set the foundation of a child's education. I believe positive reinforcement is the key to success! I am blessed to wake up every day and have the opportunity to work with the BEST children. Teaching is such a rewarding career and this school year I have a classroom of 18 awesome five year olds!
