Through the use of the tablets and headphones my ELL students will be able to listen to a broad range of literature. Students will be able to have text read to them in English as well as other languages so that they can make a connection and be able to better understand what is being read to them. The use of headphones will allow six students at a time to enjoy different stories. Tablets and headphones will allow my students to listen to appropriate level stories and enhance their reading comprehension. Students will also be given opportunities to actively play phonemic awareness games that will promote a strong reading foundation.
