My 33 students are part of a full-day Kindergarten program. This special class is mostly composed of English Language Learners (ELLs) and others with developmental disabilities, such as Down Syndrome and Autism. They are very creative individuals and very eager to explore and learn. They form part of a small school in which there is only one classroom per grade; thus making us the only Kindergarten class. They are a large group of students but are very good at sharing and caring for others.
