Students are excited to return to school! Or are they? After over a year of distance learning, many children are excited, and yet apprehensive, about making their way back to school. Their worries are about whether school will be a safe place for them is validated by the news of the pandemic that continues to surface daily.
For students to be successful with learning as they return to school, it is vital that they feel safe and comfortable. The materials that I chose for my project will ensure that the air in the classroom is clean, cool, and ventilated, new air purifiers. They will see that their working areas are sanitized and that there is sense of space for each of them with the dividers. Students will feel comfortable being a part of this classroom environment with mood enhancers, inspirational posters, and individualized incentives. With these factors in place, students can then focus on the task of learning that will lead them to success!
