I am a 12th year 3rd grade teacher at an urban school in North Carolina. I have 25 scholars in my classroom a quarter of them are from the ESL population. I have a couple of students on IEP's and they require extra assistance/support throughout the day. Some of my scholars come from low socioeconomic families who offer little support at home so everything I do in my classroom is a crucial factor throughout their day.
