A recording and a picture of an instrument is not enough!The students will learn and understand instruments best if they have a hands-on experience. Children will be able to discern the differences in timbre, resonance, pitch, tone quality of each instrument if they can actually see and feel these instruments. We only have 1 metallophone but that's not enough to share with a classroom of 30 students. These instruments are wonderful for music literacy and ensemble work however they are very expensive. Please help my classroom complete our metallophone set by adding the soprano and the bass to our class!
