These materials will assist my students in developing a passion for not just history, but for reading as well. Howard Zinn takes history to the next level with never before thought of examples and changes to the common narrative that is American History today. He makes it more personal, which will grasp onto the students' attention. If my students are able to go to college, they might be responsible for finding the next major controversy in history. My hope is to transfer the passion I have for my country and its history to my students. This is in an effort so that they might gain a new perspective and love of their country, including its history.

About my class
