My students are emerging readers and these books will help them to become proficient readers with a love for reading. Their confidence will grow along with their reading skills. Seeing my students light up when reading a story is such a blessing. The more they read, the more they will know. Many of my students do not have access to books at home, so providing these new books will help my students have many opportunities to read books.
These books will also help my students to receive points towards a goal. This point system is a great incentive to read as much as possible. My students also get to see their progress as they become proficient readers. These books will help them achieve success in more ways than one.
