I am setting up a new kindergarten class and want to make sure students have the opportunity to play. With the increasing academic demands in kindergarten, kids don't have as much time to play. Purposeful play actually helps kids learn better. They create, problem solve, and work with others. They have fun! All the materials chosen for this project will let my kids play as they learn. As they play, they will imagine, build, read, count, and become creative problem solvers. They will also learn how to work with others. Play in K will help my kids learn and help them grow socially and emotionally.

About my class
