Geocaching is an innovative learning opportunity that motivates students to learn and take interest in their community. Students learn history, map skills, reading skills and math skills to create fantastic treasure hunting experiences. Students will develop and enhance cooperative learning skills as they work in small groups to create unique caches, research and identify caches, and use GPS hand-held devices to locate and leave caches.
