The stability balls will provide options for students to stay active during instruction as they facilitate learning while improving behavior. It will promote students' natural kinesthetic energy and need for movement in a positive way in the classroom. Students sit for prolonged hours at school and for some students it can be challenging and tiresome. Thus, the stability balls allow for students to get up from their desks while still engaged in the learning.
When students sit on stability balls, both sides of their brains are engaged in keeping their bodies centered on the balls. And when the brain is stimulated, it's more focused on learning. Not only is the brain better suited to processing new information, young minds are also better able to concentrate on exams, note-taking, class discussions, and other aspects of classroom learning.
The stability balls also greatly benefit students with attention challenges. Even just a little movement on stability balls helps them concentrate and meets their demands for burning excess energy. Providing options for flexible seating through the stability balls promotes positive classroom environments. This is important for promoting enthusiasm in the classroom.
