Some students do not focus in traditional seating and need to move to help maintain their focus. We will use the stools, ball seating and chair bands as a modified version on the traditional seating. They will be able to bounce or fidget while learning without interrupting other classmates.
These flexible seating options will allow my students to choose a seat that supports their style of learning. Some students prefer quiet corners to focus on their independent tasks. They will have options to choose from including scoop seats, floor pillows, and clip boards for hard surfaces. These seating choices will also be options for collaborative learning groups.
