Fostering an interest and an enjoyment in literacy and reading is important at an early age.
By using a reading program designed to support students at the phonemic level, my students will be able to gain confidence and hopefully a love of literacy, once they crack the code to reading. My kiddos will have the opportunity to learn, in a small group setting, the foundational skills required in phonemic awareness and be able to benefit from direct intervention services. By having all the tools and supports of this reading program, my students will have better access to phonemic development and skill retention.
