First Grade students are all about the new and exciting. I know that new books would bring excitement to our classroom. My students need to be motivated to learn how to read, and I know that having new books will give them that thrill! Their favorite time of the day is during our read aloud time when I bring out a new book they haven't heard yet and read to them. How cool would it be for them to be able to pick out, read, and love their very own books from our classroom library! I can't wait to share that experience with them!

About my class
