Young children learn best when they have engaging tools in their hands. My goals are to use these STEM kits to provide hands-on opportunities for my young learners to become engineers and storytellers. These hands-on materials will allow my students to practice skills such as following diagrams, spacial awareness, telling events in order, and communicating effectively with their peers.
I plan to use these materials to create a bridge between literacy, mathematics, and science in my classroom. These tools will be fun and engaging for all of my students and they will provide practice for early engineering concepts as well as critical language skills.
