As a theater program we are working on adding professional elements to our productions. We don't have practical stage lighting, so seeing performers on stage has been a problem. Students will now have the opportunity to stand in the spotlight, and shine it on their friends. This will allow students to have an additional technical theater position to learn. When students have a job and responsibility like follow spot operator in a show they get even more excited to take ownership of the performance. Additionally, our entire performing arts department will have an opportunity to add this element to their performances as well.

About my class
