I teach five sections of 6th grade science in a middle school setting. My students come to school with many different ability levels, very diverse cultures, and a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Class sizes very from 31 to 40 students. This is a traditional science classroom supplied with lab tables, sinks, a shower/eyewash station, and shared supply room. Many students do not have a solid science foundation at this age and are very excited to be in a science class.
