By having access to these iPads during their time in the music room, students will be able to use apps and programs geared towards music. We will use vocal and instrumental exploration apps, as well as storytelling apps.
The students will also be able to write their own compositions using these two iPads. Additionally, having these iPads in the music room will allow our students with disabilities to access music apps that they can use and relate to when they can benefit from adapted lessons. Our higher learners will be able to use apps that give them additional music lessons and resources beyond the lessons I teach during full group instruction.
We will also be able to use the video capabilities on the iPads to record in-class performances and instantly watch them to self-assess our work and either write or discuss our evaluations.
My students love using technology, and having these iPads will continue to keep them excited and engaged in music class.
