These materials will help us break the cycle of carpet time then seat work, carpet time, then seat work. We enjoy seat work and quiet time, but also learn by moving around the room. We have a whole classroom of space that we would like to utilize! This project will help us put more flexible seating into place and also get more out of centers and carpet time. The white boards and clip boards can go with us and the timer can remind us when to get up and move.
With the timer, clip boards and dry erase boards, our earning will be more mobile; with the snacks, our tummies will be full! Sometimes we come to school with empty tummies, or get hungry at the end of the day.
