Within our culinary arts program, we will study food terms, equipment, and learn about food safety and sanitation. Also focusing on health and nutrition, meal management-portion control, as well as learn more about the food industry. There will be a strong emphasis on following health and safety guidelines according to protocols and procedures due to the pandemic. It is our hope that we can teach our students to learn and appreciate the art of cooking. Our students will follow a curriculum consisting of specific units and topics needed in order to develop and implement culinary skills. We hope to provide nutritious and delicious snacks and meals for our students and staff. Our Culinary Cafe' will give our students opportunities to create meals following recipes as well as the freedom to develop recipes of their own.
Our mission is to teach functional and practical culinary skills necessary for our students to have a potential career in the food industry. Our hope is to prepare our students for a career in the restaurant business and opportunities for future employment.
