Students spend the majority of their day learning and interacting in one classroom. Because of that, making the environment conducive to their needs is crucial. Many children struggle to sit still for the time required in many educational settings. The kick bands/bouncy bands for chairs help students release some of their excess energy to make remaining in their seat more realistic.
Have you ever sat in a meeting for hours on end? The type of seat in which you are stuck for a seemingly never ending amount of time plays a big role in being an active participant in those meetings. The same is true for kids. Wobble stools help regulate and refocus kids so that learning can be the teacher's number one focus.
Teachers fight each day to inspire intrinsic motivation in students and spark a curiosity and desire to learn. We want our students to want to be in our classrooms, and flexible seating helps us work towards accomplishing that goal!
