I have an amazing group of students that have a thirst for studying Social Studies and current events. I am requesting Tablets for my Social Studies classroom. My students will use these tablets to access current events and research historical events. We will use specific websites for students that have current events posted daily. We will also use the tablets for research of historical events to present to the rest of the class and write research papers. This will open up a world to my students that they would not be able to explore. We do not have much access to computers for this purpose.
