Code Buddies is a partnership between high school computer science students and elementary students where the HS students travel to the elementary buildings and work directly with students in grades 1-5 on problem solving, coding, and perseverance. This is done through engaging activities using hands on manipulatives. These Ozobots will allow my high school computer science students the ability to creatively engage in problem solving with elementary students by offering a fun way to program small robots using paper and markers. With your support, the Code Buddies partnership has the potential to not only improve STEM education for our youngest students, but provide a mentoring bond between HS and elementary students.
