We are currently building a science lab for our school but we do not have the materials to make this a fantastic experience. We have the funding for the space but no funds for new materials especially for robotics and STEM. We have the platform for a great team but not materials to make it happen. We would like to become part of the Edison Region Robotics team and be the 1st elementary school to be able to compete. We are starting from the ground up. This will be a new adventure for many of our students. Each group of students will be working in teams of four to develop a plan, create a design and with materials create a robot. We are planning to have various types of materials including Bots, Lego and self design from found materials. We would like to have our students be a part of the bot robotics competition in the Spring.
