My students are 11th and 12th grade 15-21 year old emotionally and behaviorally disturbed kids in New York. My students come from lower class families that are struggling to provide food, clothes, and shelter for their children. My students have always been told "no" and are used to failing. I would like to help my students realize that people do say yes, and that they can succeed.
