This will provide my students with nonfiction text that will help increase literacy skills and social studies and science content knowledge through engaging visuals and digital resources.
These materials will help increase vocabulary and build oral language skills through discussions about diverse nonfiction topics. This will benefit all types of learners. The magazines will be used in whole class instruction, for shared and independent reading and ultimately, sent home to get all families involved in what their children are studying and learning.
