These clay supplies will give my students the opportunity of working with a material that they have never had before! As a first year teacher, I am molding a curriculum for these students based on their interests and needs, and one thing I've heard time and time again is that they have not made three-dimensional projects in art! The kiln is here, but what is missing is your generosity and supplies, such as tool sets, cutters, and rolling pins, that can give them the best art experience possible. The 3-dimensional projects can give confidence to my students who aren't the best drawers, and test my design-oriented students to thinking about height, width, AND depth. As a fundamental element of art, form is a necessary exploration for my middle school students!
