I am very excited to move into a regular education classroom after teaching special education students for many years. My philosophy is that the way our learning space looks, matters.
My goal is to give students the agency and freedom to make choices as much as possible. Flexible seating is one of the ways I would like to achieve this. These materials will contribute to a comfortable, student-led classroom.
Above all, I want my students to feel that they belong. Creating a classroom environment that feels like home will accomplish this goal.
