Picture this! Students fist pump their way into the classroom. They walk to a bin of choice to start the day with a STEM/Maker project.
Students will practice informational reading, follow multi-steps directions, practice real-life building applications, and have opportunities for scientific discussion and collaboration, all while having fun & being engaged. Students will get to use the Science journals to document discovery, methods, and results of their tinkering. Working with STEM Bins will show that mistakes lead to learning and improvement of design and practice.
Building simple machines, testing water quality, examining the laws of physics is just what our future innovators need!
