Our third grade team is departmentalized for the first time this year. I teach students who come to me from another teacher and when they come, they have no place to put their belongings as my homeroom's things are in the desk.
The seat sacks will help students be more organized in finding needed materials during class as well as prevent accidents. Currently, students from the other class place their belongings in the floor creating a huge safety hazard.
If students are able to locate materials in a timely manner, it will decrease the amount of lost instructional time as well as the chaos associated with not being able to find something.
