I work with juniors and some seniors in a large, urban public school. Most of my students are recent immigrants to the United States, and are learning English as well as grade-level Chemistry curriculum. My students are actively engaged in Chemistry curriculum through interactive, discussion-based learning practices. They work in teams and are assigned positions, in order to learn the importance of personal responsibility and communication. Through interactive lessons, discussions, and inquiry based labs, my students are committed to preparing themselves for success in high school science and beyond.
