My students will have more independence in the learning environment and community through the use of these tools. Communication using Picture Exchange (PECS) gives us the ability to print color picture vocabulary in the classroom increases my students ability to participate as well as to communicate their wants and needs.
Simple adaptive tools make a big difference for student with physical and intellectual difference. Modified crayons can enable a child with a physical disability to color, draw, and write. Electronic readers assist children who are learning to read in independently reading books. These things matter so I am very thankful to all everyone for helping my classroom!
